Paloma began in administrative roles at Baterias Pioneiro, the company her father founded. But fourteen years ago, she found her calling in operations. “I transitioned to the industrial side, where I found a strong personal connection to operations and manufacturing,” she recalls. That realization sparked her commitment to acquiring the technical and leadership skills needed to thrive in the battery industry.
Today, as Operations and Production Director, Paloma oversees all aspects of manufacturing—production, quality, engineering, and maintenance—ensuring they work seamlessly together to deliver performance, safety, and efficiency. What draws her to the field is its unique mix of complexity, purpose, and “the opportunity to contribute to a sector that is essential to energy transformation and sustainability.”

In an industry traditionally dominated by men, Paloma brings a refreshing leadership style rooted in both emotional intelligence and technical precision. “Leadership is not only about decision-making but also about listening, creating safe and respectful environments, and empowering people,” she says.

She looks forward to engaging with WGBI’s mentorship initiatives—both as a mentee and, in time, a mentor. “I believe mentorship is a powerful tool for growth. As a mentee, I hope to gain insights from experienced professionals and expand my leadership capabilities.”

Outside work, Paloma spends time with family. “I also love traveling — it opens my mind and inspires me both personally and professionally. Being in nature, especially by the sea or exploring new cultures, helps me disconnect from daily pressures and reconnect with what really matters.”
